CUSTER STATE PARK–THE WILDLIFE LOOP

After navigating our way through the Needles Highway and its tunnels, we drove through Custer State Park with the hope that we would see some wildlife.  It was a beautiful drive and the road was much better than Needles and we could make better time.  So here are the pictures we took of wildlife.

Zoom in and we see that the herd is buffalo.  Well, I decided to take some pictures of the wildest life we saw that day.

There goes the wildest life we saw that day.  Hey, I could have taken a picture of two old geezers climbing our of their motor home.  Or better yet, had someone take our picture and label that as “wild life”.  Now that’s wild!!

We enjoyed Custer State Park and its natural scenery and what little wildlife we saw.  By the time we finished the Wildlife loop, we were pretty tired of driving narrow windy roads and we still had Iron Mountain Road to drive before we were through.  I say that because we had to drive it to get back home.
